Provide legal advice and guidance on environmental law permitting processes, including handling deviations from the environmental plan and reviewing applications.
Project overview
Legal advice and guidance on permitting within environmental law:
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Advising on requests for deviation from the environmental plan (bopa's)
- Reviewing GoFlo's and participation documents
- Acting as a point of contact for plan reviewers and other professional groups
- Checking and sometimes drafting draft decisions
- Managing multiple environmental permit applications, including consultation with the portfolio holder and drafting college and council proposals
- Occasionally advising on objections and representing the college of mayor and aldermen in objection and appeal proceedings
- Legal education at HBO or WO level, successfully completed
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in environmental law
- Weekly physical presence on Monday at the office location
