Environmental Supervisor (Subversion / Industrial)

Project overview

As a supervisor, you will independently carry out environmental supervision at companies in the Nijmegen region.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Carry out environmental inspections and re-inspections and record findings in the case system
• Follow up on findings and associated actions
• Carry out inspections at complex companies and draw up inspection reports
• Handle complaints and enforcement requests at sensitive business locations
• Perform activities at companies where aggression, intimidation, or other undesirable behavior may occur
• Apply different supervision styles and redirect undesirable behavior towards compliance with regulations
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in the last 5 years with environmental supervision and enforcement in subversion and sensitive files
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the last 10 years as an environmental supervisor at industrial enterprises
• Minimum 3 years of experience collaborating with other government agencies, such as police, municipality, and/or water board
• Minimum completed HBO bachelor's degree
• Work experience in the last 5 years with the Open Wave case system
• Knowledge of the (complex) companies in the Nijmegen region
• Experience with the waste sector, including vehicle dismantling companies
• Experience with complex industrial enterprises, where knowledge of drug development and production is a plus
