Detailed description

We are looking for an experienced MicroStrategy Developer, also possessing data analysis skills, with a significant experience of at least 5 years in MicroStrategy.

Within the Digital & Data Department, the Data Lab team works on Data and Analytics in the context of a vast information system modernization program.

You will join our Data Factory, composed of teams and business Data Departments, whose mission is to design, develop, and deploy high-value-added analytical products for support functions, logistics, points of sale, and consumers.

After several significant successes and facing growing demand, our organization is evolving towards an Agile model structured into Domains, Tribes, and Squads. This transformation aims to accelerate the delivery of Data products while strengthening the value of our data assets.

In this context, you will join one of our squads, responsible for developing BI, Analytics, and Data Science use cases on our Azure and Databricks-based Data platform.

Mission description

Within the squad, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of business intelligence solutions using MicroStrategy, as well as to the analysis and valorization of data for business purposes.

A technical test on MicroStrategy will be conducted during the interview to validate the candidate's skills.

ANALYSIS

Participates in the detailed functional analysis of user needs and may be involved in workshops for defining general specifications.

Studies the technological opportunities and feasibility of the application, performs technical analysis, detailed study, and contributes to workload estimation.

DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

Contributes to the design of software and frameworks used in the project.

Adapts and applies the technical parameters of software packages or middleware.

Performs prototyping.

Analyzes and develops components using appropriate languages.

Participates in the structuring of Databases.

Participates in cross-reviews of peers' developments.

Initializes the operational file.

Assembles unit components into a coherent application package for solution deployment and integrates it into configuration management.

Documents applications for future development and Production Deployment (MEP).

Harmonizes and industrializes all components and applications.

Uses reusable software components and updates the nomenclature.

UNIT TESTING AND INTEGRATION TESTING

Responsible for unit tests: development of test cases and execution.

Tests, identifies, and resolves potential malfunctions of the developed software.

Verifies the conformity of the work with the requested requirements.

Contributes to the preparation and execution of integration tests.

Analyzes results and writes the test report.

MAINTENANCE

Performs developments necessary for corrective and evolutionary maintenance.

Participates in the analysis and resolution of production incidents.
