Project overview

For our client, we are looking for an expert in labor law / labor relations with a focus on individual and collective labor law.

Project Goal: Processing labor law issues and developing documents, procedures, and HR-legal processes in the field of individual and collective labor law.

Responsibilities

• Processing labor law issues in individual and collective labor law.
• Advising on the creation, maintenance, and review of standard labor law documents, especially sample employment contracts, clause collections, works agreements, and internal policies.
• Advising on the handling of labor court proceedings, including deadline control, file management, and coordination with external law firms.
• Researching and preparing current case law, judgments, and legislative changes for internal contacts.
• Preparing and following up on works council and negotiation appointments, including documentation.
• Initial technical review of incoming inquiries from HR business partners and responsible persons on standard labor law topics.
• Advising on the handling of complex individual cases in labor law.
• Advising on internal investigations and on HR projects and compliance topics.

Requirements

Project Language: German and English

Remote Share: 60 - 80 %

Utilization: 4 - 5 days / week

Industry: Retail

• Completed law studies with a second state examination.
• Knowledge in individual and / or collective labor law.
• Good English skills, spoken and written.
• Knowledge of SAP or HR systems is an advantage.
• Experience in project-related processing of labor law issues.
