Interim Finance Manager needed to stabilize and professionalize a finance organization of 6 FTE, focusing on team leadership, process improvement, and financial reporting.
Project overview
The assignment involves stabilizing and further professionalizing the finance organization (6 FTE):
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Managing and coaching the finance team of 5 employees
- Restoring calm and structure within a team currently experiencing unrest
- Bearing responsibility for the daily financial administration and periodic closings
- Accelerating and improving monthly closings and management reports
- Strengthening financial control, balance sheet specifications, and internal control measures
- Simplifying and professionalizing administrative processes, with less manual Excel work
- More efficient use of the ERP system Metacom and increasing data quality
- Improving project control, liquidity forecasts, and insight into project results, risks, and cash flow
- Supporting and challenging the board, project leaders, and operational management
- Collaborating with the interim Finance Director on the broader change and improvement agenda for 2027
- Experience as a hands-on, operational Finance Manager
- Strong people management and coaching skills
- Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Metacom
- Availability of at least 4 days per week for at least 12 months
