Provide temporary support to the Finance and Control team of OVER-municipalities as a Financial Controller. Responsibilities include coordinating the preparation of municipal annual accounts and supporting other P&C products.
Project overview
As a financial controller, you will provide temporary support to the Finance and Control team of OVER-municipalities.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Coordinate the preparation of municipal annual accounts, including alignment and progress monitoring
- Support colleagues with other P&C products such as the budget, the spring report, and the autumn report
- Perform financial analyses and prepare clear reports
- Identify bottlenecks in financial processes and advise on solutions
- Liaise with colleagues from the financial administration and business control
- Contribute to clear and user-friendly P&C documents with Pepperflow
- Attend municipal council meetings to support the executive board
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
- Several years of experience as a financial controller in a municipality
- Experience with the preparation of municipal annual accounts in a coordinating role
- Insight into municipal finances, the P&C process, and associated regulations
- Well-developed sense of political-administrative relationships
