FinOps / AI FinOps Consultant Senior

Project overview

As part of strengthening its IT financial governance and controlling costs related to digital infrastructure and artificial intelligence usage, our client is looking for a Senior FinOps / AI FinOps Consultant capable of intervening in analysis, consulting, and operational support for teams.

Your missions:

Within the IT, Finance, Infrastructure, and Data/AI teams, you will contribute to:

Profile sought

• Analyzing consumption and costs of Cloud, On-Premise, and AI environments.
• Building and maintaining comprehensive cost models (TCO) and steering indicators.
• Identifying optimization levers for digital infrastructure, platforms, and services.
• Conducting FinOps and AI FinOps audits of existing governance processes, tools, and systems.
• Defining and evolving KPIs, dashboards, and cost reallocation/allocation mechanisms.
• Supporting economic trade-offs between Cloud and On-Premise infrastructure.
• Participating in the optimization of AI usage (training, inference, GPU, managed services, generative models).
• Implementing governance, budget monitoring, and continuous improvement processes.
• Supporting teams in change management and skills transfer.
• Higher education in IT, engineering, or information systems finance.
• Significant experience in FinOps, IT financial steering, or Cloud cost optimization.
• Good understanding of Cloud architectures, datacenter infrastructure, and AI platforms.
• Mastery of TCO, showback/chargeback, financial governance, and budget control issues.
• Experience with Azure highly appreciated.
• Proficiency in Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Ability to interact with technical, financial, and business stakeholders.
