Project overview

For a strategic consulting project, we are seeking an experienced IT Due Diligence Consultant (m/f/d) with profound experience in complex IT and system landscapes on short notice.

Project Content

As part of a strategic development, the existing IT, system, and data landscape is to be comprehensively analyzed and evaluated. The goal is to create transparency about the current status, identify risks and optimization potentials, and derive a robust future IT target image including a roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Conducting a holistic IT Due Diligence / IT inventory
• Analysis of existing ERP, application, and data landscapes
• Evaluation of MES, Shopfloor, and OT structures
• Recording and evaluation of relevant IT and OT cyber risks
• Analysis of different systems and processes regarding standardization and harmonization
• Evaluation of data quality and data availability
• Consideration of the mapping of production costs, working hours, and unit costs
• Development of a future IT target image
• Derivation and prioritization of an IT roadmap
• Preparation of results and recommendations for action for management/C-level stakeholders
• Optional: Support of subsequent transformation and implementation measures

• Several years of experience in IT Due Diligence, IT Assessments, or IT Strategy
• Profound understanding of complex ERP system landscapes
• Experience with MES, Shopfloor, and/or Operational Technology (OT)
• Understanding of Cyber Security in the production environment
• Experience in evaluating and harmonizing heterogeneous IT and data landscapes
• Experience in creating IT roadmaps and target architectures
• Ideally, experience from M&A, Carve-out/Carve-in, or investor projects
• Ability to prepare technical results understandably and decision-oriented for management
• Very good German skills, English skills are an advantage
• Meaningful reference projects from comparable IT assessment/due diligence projects
