Job description
The Functional Architecture & Prospective department is seeking a manager to oversee functional and application architecture activities across the IT systems. This role involves ensuring the relevance, coherence, and scalability of the IT system, managing project support, maintaining system mapping, defining architectural principles, and fostering team alignment.
Project overview
Context
The Functional Architecture & Prospective department conducts, transversally across all Titles IT systems and their components, the classic functional and application architecture activities of an IT system. It specifically carries out the following missions:
The department also coordinates general architecture work, in close liaison with, on one hand, the various technical architecture cells dedicated to each part of the IT system (TCC IT, Distribution IT, Transverse IT, Internal IT), and on the other hand, with the architecture bodies of the banking group and its various entities.
In addition to the main missions listed above, the Functional Architecture & Prospective department conducts knowledge dissemination and internal training actions:
The department is finally attached to the Steering & Architecture department, which allows essential proximity to the Plan steering.
Missions
Within the Functional Architecture & Prospective department, you will be responsible for:
The position involves daily interactions with numerous IT (primarily) and business teams.
Tools & Environment
Working Conditions
- Guarantee the relevance, coherence, and scalability of the IT system, through:
- Daily support for projects and IT system evolutions, aiming to define target solutions and assist IT and business teams in the pace of this work.
- Mapping of the existing system, with the objective of maintaining an up-to-date, widely shared, and readily available knowledge base of the IT system, primarily composed of a core set of crucial repositories (applications, software, flows).
- Defining the general architectural principles governing the IT system and its evolutions.
- Uniting the different teams around the chosen architectures, which implies:
- Synthesizing a significant amount of IT system knowledge,
- Ensuring its effective sharing and dissemination,
- Thus enabling teams to adopt the defined trajectories and contribute directly to these efforts.
- Ensuring prospective watch, both on technological innovations (and their potential business benefits), and on new business approaches (and their ability to rethink IT usage).
- Constituting a pool of expertise available for specific missions, such as responding to calls for tender, integrating new tenants projects...
- On the knowledge and overall architecture of the IT system, for all teams (project managers, sales representatives…)
- On design methods and data modeling, more specifically for development teams (MOE).
- Updating the IT system mapping and the various repositories it contains (applications, flows), with potential interventions in the associated CMDB:
- On an ongoing basis (as projects and changes occur):
- Identifying modifications (addition, modification, deletion) impacting these repositories,
- Collecting associated information from the relevant teams,
- And reflecting them in the mapping.
- Periodically:
- Assisting in conducting "review" campaigns with the teams responsible for the various assets.
- Contributing to tooling for these mappings and repositories, with the aim of further facilitating their updating and dissemination:
- By implementing new features on the solution used (MyCarto from AB+SOFTWARE), autonomously and/or with the support of the editor.
- Participating in data modeling work:
- By pacing the reverse engineering work carried out by the various development teams aiming to reconstruct/update the data models of the different IT system assets,
- And by taking on certain re-documentation tasks directly.
