Project overview

The assignment focuses on improving the Record-to-Report process in collaboration with the client and the outsourcing partner.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Analyze the current R2R processes, systems, and working methods
• Identify process disruptions, inefficiencies, and quality issues
• Identify causes of deviations, errors, and unreliable reporting
• Act as a link between the client, outsourcing partner, and internal stakeholders
• Convert operational bottlenecks into improvement proposals and business cases
• Define and implement KPIs, controls, and quality objectives
• Lead improvement and implementation projects within Finance Operations
• Ensure sustainable improvements in processes, governance, and collaboration
• Proven experience in Finance Transformation, Shared Service Centers, or Finance Operations
• Thorough knowledge of Record-to-Report processes
• Experience in outsourced finance environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Quickly understand complex issues
• Hands-on mentality focused on achieving improvements
• Experience with process improvement, performance management, and KPI implementation
• Experience in an international corporate context is a plus
• Experience with offshore finance operations, preferably with a Finance Shared Service Center or outsourcing partner in India
