Job description
The client, a supplier of components and systems for the automotive industry, is looking for a High Voltage System Engineer to support project acquisition, system validation, and system design/implementation. The role involves designing, integrating, and validating high-voltage systems and components within the overall vehicle context.
Responsibilities
- Design and evaluation of high-voltage systems in the overall vehicle environment
- Design and integration of high-voltage components in the overall vehicle
- Development of high-voltage safety concepts
- Design and integration of high-voltage batteries in the overall vehicle
- Design of fuse and contactor combinations
- Parameterization of battery management systems
- Derivation of requirements for the high-voltage system from overall vehicle requirements
- Commissioning and testing of high-voltage systems
- Development of high-voltage circuit and system diagrams
- Procurement of high-voltage components in coordination with purchasing

- Studies preferably in Electrical Engineering / Automotive Engineering / Technical Computer Science / Mechatronics
- Profound expertise in the field of high-voltage systems / EV batteries / BMS / cells
- Good know-how in handling application and measurement tools, especially Vector Tools (Canape/Canalyzer)
- Qualified Electrician Level 3 (AUS) preferred
- Team player with a structured way of working
- Good German and English language skills
