• Responsibility for the security architecture and technical further development of the domain with a focus on Trust Management PKI, Credential, Certificate, and Key Management Systems.
• Very good knowledge of PKI architectures, X.509 certificates, Certificate Lifecycle Management, Key Management, HSMs, as well as relevant cryptographic methods and protocols.
• Ability to develop overarching architectural concepts for central Trust Services, incorporating applications, platforms, identities, network, cloud, and infrastructure components.
• Translation of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements into concrete technical architecture specifications; confident handling of relevant standards, best practices, and specifications in the field of cryptography and Trust Services.
• Definition of interfaces, integration patterns, and target architectures for the use of certificates, credentials, and cryptographic keys by various systems and platforms – especially in hybrid and cloud environments.
• Establishment of architectural principles, standards, and technological guardrails, as well as consulting for engineering, platform, security, and application teams on design and technology decisions.
• Several years of experience as a Security Architect, PKI Architect, or in a comparable role, combined with the ability to structure complex technical issues, advocate for architectural decisions, and bring together different stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must: Several years of experience as a Security/PKI Architect with deep know-how in PKI architectures, X.509 certificates, Certificate Lifecycle Management, Key Management, and HSMs.
• Must: Demonstrable experience in the design and integration of central Trust Management Services (PKI, Credential, and Key Management) into complex, hybrid, and/or cloud-based IT landscapes.
• Must: Ability to translate security, compliance, and regulatory requirements into technical architecture specifications, standards, and guardrails, and to represent them to various stakeholders (architecture, platform, applications, security).
• Can: Experience with Trust Management transformations in regulated industries (especially the financial industry) and/or with Post-Quantum relevant adjustments in PKI and Key Management architectures.
• German: C1 – Professional language proficiency
• English: C1 – Professional language proficiency – Advanced (CAE)
• No Subcontracting allowed!
