• Support in the technical coordination of sub-areas in the project (Data, ERP, Image Recognition, Process)
• Better capture requirements from business departments and coordinate handover to Product Owners
• Technical Data and Integration Architecture: Overall technical responsibility for the data infrastructure and interface architecture at the interface between shopfloor (IoT/Electrical Engineering), cloud data platforms (e.g., Databricks), and ERP systems (Odoo)
• ETL Data Pipeline Development: Conception, setup, and support of robust ETL pipelines and workers for the extraction, transformation, and migration of heterogeneous data from different sources (production facilities, sensor technology, computer vision / image recognition) to Odoo and downstream analysis platforms.
• ERP Data Integration and Processing (Odoo): Technical responsibility for structured data creation, data modeling, and data processing within Odoo, as well as ensuring consistent data flows along the entire manufacturing and processing process.
• IoT and Shopfloor Integration / IT/OT Integration: Connection of shopfloor data sources (sensor technology, automation technology, control systems) and clarification of technical requirement parameters directly with the on-site production and electrical engineering teams
• Technical Coordination and Interface Coordination: Functional translation and coordination of the sub-areas data, ERP, image recognition, and process.
• Recording of technical requirements in the business departments and targeted handover/interface work in close coordination with senior project management.
• Data Quality and Pipeline Monitoring: Definition of standards for ensuring data quality, monitoring of automated pipeline processes, as well as error analysis and optimization in case of data and system breaks.

Your Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, IoT Systems Engineer, or IT/OT Integration Specialist
• Sound experience in the technical management of data projects in an industrial environment, ideally with concrete production experience from the shopfloor area (automation, electrical engineering, production, ERP)
• Core competencies: IoT background, data aggregation from various sources, creation of ETL workers, porting to Odoo, as well as data creation and processing
• Industrial and Shopfloor Understanding: Practical experience from the production environment (electrical engineering, automation technology, ERP/MES/SCADA connections) as well as understanding of manufacturing and process flows on the shopfloor
• Very good knowledge in the development of ETL pipelines and workers, data modeling, and data integration
• Practical experience with Odoo (or comparable modular ERP systems) as well as modern data platforms like Databricks
• Interface and Communication Competence: Strong ability to understand, structure, and coordinate complex technical topics solution-oriented with business departments (production, electrical engineering, software) and forward them to project management
• Analytical, structured, and independent way of working, team and user orientation, assertiveness, and quality awareness
• Very good German and English skills.
• Desirable additional knowledge: Knowledge in MLOps, CI/CD pipelines for Data Engineering, or containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ideally, experience with quality-oriented image recognition systems in automation or processing technology.
• Experience in collaboration between external partners, IT development, and shopfloor operations is an advantage
