Major industrial player seeks an Industrial IT / Digital Manufacturing Project Manager to design and deploy their future industrial application environment as part of a strategic industrial transformation program.
Project overview
As part of a strategic program for industrial transformation and modernization of its production facilities, a major industrial player is looking for an Industrial IT / Digital Manufacturing Project Manager to support the design and deployment of its future industrial application environment.
This large-scale program includes the installation of new production equipment, modernization of infrastructure, and the implementation of industrial IT solutions, notably integrating MES, WMS, and supervision systems, with significant IT/OT integration challenges.
You will be involved at the heart of the project, working closely with business, IT, industrial teams, and solution providers.
Your missions
Management and coordination of industrial IT projects
Scoping and functional design
Calls for tender and solution selection
Testing, deployment, and support
- Organize and coordinate activities related to the implementation of industrial applications.
- Lead follow-up meetings, project committees, and steering committees.
- Act as the interface between business teams, IT teams, and external partners.
- Monitor project progress and ensure the functional consistency of deployed solutions.
- Gather and analyze the needs of industrial teams.
- Lead business workshops and design workshops.
- Contribute to defining future industrial applications and their interactions.
- Write specifications, functional specifications, and design documents.
- Participate in the preparation and writing of software calls for tender.
- Analyze proposals from publishers and integrators.
- Contribute to the evaluation and selection of solutions suited to industrial needs.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the functional adequacy of selected solutions.
- Prepare and coordinate testing and functional acceptance phases.
- Support go-lives and startup phases.
- Participate in writing user guides and operating procedures.
- Train and support operational teams in the field.
