Interim Director Operations and Services

Project overview

As interim director, you will provide direction to the Operations and Services domain of the municipality.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Directing a strong and future-proof operational management
• Strengthening internal control and risk management
• Leading the team managers within the domain
• Advising the executive board, directorate, and management on strategic organizational issues
• Guiding organization-wide change and further development processes
• Connecting strategic goals with the daily practice of employees
• Participating in directorate and management meetings and corporate decision-making
• Preparing an analysis of the domain's current position with advice for the future
• Completed education at a minimum HBO bachelor's level, for example, Public Administration, Business Administration, Public Management, or Organizational Sciences
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a final responsible manager within the public sector
• Minimum of 3 years of experience gained within a municipal organization
• Experience with optimizing and further developing operational management, internal control, and supporting organizational units
• Experience with managing organization-wide change assignments
• Political-administrative sensitivity and the ability to switch between strategy and execution
• Strong connecting and results-oriented leadership style
