Interim Risk Manager

Project overview

Assignment at a financial institution focused on validation of risk data aggregation and reporting processes in accordance with BCBS 239 and RDARR.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Performing independent reviews of processes, controls, and measures in the area of BCBS 239 and RDARR
• Reviewing the design, existence, and operation of processes for data management, data governance, and risk reporting
• Documenting findings from validations and preparing corresponding reports with recommendations
• Following changes in legislation, supervisory expectations, and market standards around BCBS 239/RDARR
• Improving methodologies, assessment frameworks, and tools for validation
• Assisting internal audits and supervisory investigations with insights and analyses from validations
• Providing advice to owners of processes, data, and reports on improving data quality, data lineage, governance, and risk reporting
• Completed higher professional education (hbo) or university (wo) degree, for example in business economics, finance, computer science, or data management
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data management, risk management, model validation, internal audit, or a comparable control function within the financial sector
• Interest in IT and analyzing complex data streams
• Knowledge of banking laws and regulations and supervision (preferred)
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages, spoken and written
• Relevant certificates in the field of risk management and/or audit (preferred)
