Interim Technical Product Owner

Project overview

Technical leadership of an integration project for a networked access and payment system at around 600 locations:

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Managing the introduction of a new card terminal generation, including hardware conversion and user interface adjustments
• Coordinating hardware general contractors and software service providers
• Capturing, evaluating, and formulating technical requirements, user stories, and change requests
• Maintaining and prioritizing the backlog
• Accompanying software releases, including testing and documentation
• Implementing technical improvements to increase system transparency
• Solid understanding of Linux and embedded systems, as well as scripting skills in Python and Bash
• Basic knowledge of networked hardware, mechanics, and electrical engineering
• Practical experience in handling technical user stories, change requests, and release management
• Ability to structurally manage external manufacturers and development service providers
• Hands-on mentality with testing experience on laboratory and test systems
• Knowledge of log analysis and monitoring tools such as Elasticsearch, Kibana, or Google Cloud Logging/Monitoring is advantageous
• Experience with Docker is advantageous
• Experience in the payment environment as well as with payment terminals, Jira, and Confluence is advantageous
