Project overview

For our client in Cologne, we are looking for an IT Application Manager Business Applications (m/f/d).

Responsibilities

• Technical support and ensuring the stable operation of business-critical business applications
• Analysis of application-related disruptions and coordination of troubleshooting with internal IT teams and external service providers
• Monitoring of availability, performance, system jobs, and data processing
• Planning and accompanying releases, deployments, updates, and changes
• Support of application configurations, authorizations, and background processes
• Monitoring and analysis of interfaces, APIs, integrations, and data flows
• Technical coordination with business departments, development, infrastructure, integration teams, and external service providers
• Support with tests and technical optimizations
• Maintenance of technical application documentation

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in technical application management
• Demonstrable practical experience in the operation and technical support of complex business applications, e.g., ERP, CRM, Workforce Management, Logistics, Finance, or comparable enterprise software
• Experience with application-related error analysis and troubleshooting
• Experience with interfaces, APIs, and integrations
• Experience with releases, deployments, changes, and updates of business applications
• Good SQL and database knowledge
• Good understanding of technical system architectures and the interaction of different applications
• Structured and independent way of working, as well as good communication with technical and business contacts
• Very good German and good English skills
