IT Consultant - License Management / SAM

Project overview

An energy sector company wants to strategically develop its IT license management. Existing structures, processes, and tools will be analyzed. Fit/Gap analyses and optimized target processes will form the basis for suitable solution scenarios. Additionally, the existing Software Asset Management solution will be evaluated, and internal license audits will be conducted. The results will be incorporated into a prioritized action catalog and a concrete implementation plan.

INTERESTED?

• Analyze existing license management and model target processes
• Develop strategic target images and evaluate SAM tools
• Conduct internal license audits and identify optimization potential
• Create action catalog and prioritized implementation plan
• MUST: 5 years – Strategic/operational license management and SAM, within the last 10 years
• MUST: 5 years – Process modeling and as-is/fit/gap analyses, within the last 10 years
• MUST: 5 years – Conception, execution, and documentation of internal license audits
• MUST: 5 years – IT license management consulting in the transport sector
• MUST: 5 years – Analysis of license inventories, usage, and license agreements, within the last 10 years
• SHOULD: 5 years – Functional use and evaluation of SAM tools
• SHOULD: 1 reference project – SAM tool implementation including conception, integration, and operational handover
• SHOULD: 5 years – Evaluation of license/procurement-related SAP data in the group
• Full-time employment with 8h/day and 5 days/week
• Planned project period is 01.12.2026–31.12.2027
• You will perform your services mostly from a location of your choice in Germany (onshore)
• The wish is that ~10% of the services are provided on-site in Frankfurt am Main (onsite)
• The daily rate is not fixed in advance – please send us your desired daily rate.
• Naturally: The more attractive the daily rate, the higher the chances.
• Please also provide a travel expense allowance (per day) for on-site assignments in Frankfurt.
