IT Consultant Network & IT Operating Models

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Consultant for a comprehensive transformation project in the area of network and IT infrastructure. The project runs for 25 months starting in November 2026 and offers flexible working conditions with a 90% remote share.

Your tasks include analyzing the existing IT infrastructure, developing target and solution scenarios for passive network infrastructure, and creating strategic roadmaps and target architectures. You will gather and qualify requirements, evaluate action options, and provide expert advice on IT policies and technological solutions. Furthermore, you will support the project team through documentation, change management, and stakeholder management.

We expect in-depth experience in the analysis, design, and implementation of IT operating models with a direct relation to IT networks (at least 3 reference projects). Extensive experience in IT strategy projects with change processes and structured 'as-is' analyses of complex IT landscapes should also be demonstrated. Ideally, you bring more than 7 years of experience at a Principal level, especially in developing strategic solution options for infrastructure and network domains.

In addition, experience in creating transformation roadmaps, knowledge transfer through templates and working documents, and change projects for the introduction of new operating models are advantageous.

The work location is Germany with predominantly remote work. The application deadline is 05.11.2026.
