Project overview

Introduction

The project "Technologiesprung Netzwerk" (Technology Leap Network) aims to evolve the network landscape into a modern, platform-based network ecosystem, thereby creating the foundation for the client's future digital backbone. The focus is on the conception and establishment of a central network platform to support the provision of connectivity services and the optimization of business and technical processes. Operating and deployment models will be further developed based on DevOps principles, a multi-vendor strategy will be established, and a KPI-based steering framework will be built.

Within the scope of the project, passive infrastructure will also be considered; an IT service provider will support the internal business units in recording the current situation, developing recommendations for action, and coordinating enhancement measures.

• Collecting, structuring, and qualifying technical and business requirements.
• Analyzing problem areas and documenting options for action.
• Creating and evaluating strategies and target architectures for passive infrastructure and their integration into the future network platform.
• Providing expert advice on the development of IT policies, digitalization strategies, and architectural specifications.
• Evaluating new technology solutions, considering economic viability and security.
• Identifying risks and creating roadmaps.
• Enabling the internal customer team for independent further processing.
• Profound experience in the analysis, design, and implementation of IT operating models with a specific relation to IT networks
