Saint-Denis (93)
Remote Work: 2 days per week
Experience Required: Minimum 6 years in IT project management, including significant experience managing the Build phase.
Deadline: Client expects profiles this week
Urgency: High, immediate availability required
Context
As part of a major IT transformation program for a large French energy player, we are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to take over the management of several functional lots currently in the realization phase.
The program aims to simplify and modernize a critical information system used for planning, scheduling, and monitoring field interventions.
The scoping and general design phase is complete. The mission is now strongly focused on Build, operational management, and securing delivery.
The consultant will work on several lots in parallel, with significant responsibility for schedules, milestones, workload planning, priorities, dependencies, risks, budget, and delivery quality.
The client expects a driver, not a coordinator: someone who meets deadlines, detects deviations early, corrects them with the teams, and only escalates true decision-making issues. Excellent reporting and anticipation skills are expected, particularly with program management.

- Quickly identify discrepancies between forecasts and actuals, and analyze their causes.
- Build and manage catch-up plans necessary to secure milestones.
- Build and maintain the workload plan for teams across all lots.
- Anticipate overloads, bottlenecks, and needs for reinforcement.
- Arbitrate priorities between lots, and between evolutions, corrections, and deliveries.

- Manage and coordinate AMOA, development, QA, and business teams on a daily basis.
- Work in close collaboration with the functional managers of the various lots.
- Synchronize work with other related projects and IT systems.

- Build mitigation plans and monitor their execution.
- Take necessary corrective actions promptly in case of deviations.

- Track project consumption and costs.
- Compare actuals to forecasts.
