IT Security & Infrastructure Engineer

Project overview

Network administration and planning: You administer and plan our network environment and develop it further as needed.

Identity and Access Management: You assign and manage permissions for systems and applications in Active Directory.

Evaluation and commissioning of new IT solutions: You participate in the selection, evaluation, and introduction of new hardware and software.

IT Security and Security Awareness: You support the implementation of our IT security measures, raise user awareness, and manage VPN and firewall solutions.

Operation and monitoring of IT infrastructure: You ensure the smooth operation of the IT network and IT security infrastructure and monitor the relevant systems.

Security Information and Event Management: You implement and operate SIEM solutions for the central collection, evaluation, and analysis of security-relevant events.

Security Audits: You plan and conduct security audits, analyze the results, and derive appropriate improvement measures.

Requirements

Firewall administration: You have sound experience in the configuration, administration, and optimization of firewalls.

Network routing: You have sound knowledge of network routing and the configuration and analysis of complex network architectures.

IT Security: You have extensive experience in security administration and are familiar with current technologies and methods for securing IT infrastructures.

Planning and implementation: You have good knowledge of planning and implementing IT and software projects.

System support: You have experience in the administration and support of server-based systems under Linux and Windows.

Network analysis: You have practical experience with network analysis tools and in the analysis and optimization of highly available network architectures.

Education or studies: You have completed vocational training with an IT focus or a degree, for example in computer science or business informatics.

Communication and training skills: You communicate confidently with various contact persons and can convey technical content understandably and conduct training.

Independent and team-oriented work style: You work independently, service- and goal-oriented, and enjoy contributing to the team.

Language skills: You have confident German and English skills, both written and spoken.
