Job description
Seeking a Junior Project Manager to support a European institution in managing building cabling and network infrastructure projects, focusing on LAN, copper, fiber optics, and Wi-Fi.
Project overview
Our client in the Networks and Telecommunications sector is looking for a Junior Project Manager for Building Cabling & Networks Support (M/F).
Mission Description:
Context
As part of construction, renovation, and modernization projects for a European institution, a project management support team assists in the evolution of building infrastructure across several sites in Belgium and Luxembourg, with occasional interventions at other European sites. The team works with project owners, design offices, installers, integrators, and operators. They can train the recruited person in the specifics of their scope.
The projects notably concern building communication infrastructures: copper and fiber optic cabling, Wi-Fi networks, and associated equipment. The mission relates to building LAN and work supervision, not the administration of IT systems and networks.
Mission
Supporting senior project managers and project directors, the recruited person will assist the project owner in defining needs, studies, work supervision, and installation verification before acceptance. They will contribute to site supervision and the coordination of stakeholders, with progressive skill development in cabling, fiber optics, and Wi-Fi studies and measurements.
