Junior Support Employee

Project overview

For an IT project in the Wendland region, we are looking for a Junior Support Employee on a freelance basis. The position is to be filled immediately and is limited to 6 months, with a possible extension option. This is a full-time position on-site.

Responsibilities

You will support end-users with application problems in a Windows environment and conduct training on new IT equipment. Your activities include documenting problems, installing and configuring operating systems and standard software, carrying out IT rollouts, and processing support requests via a ticketing system. You will analyze, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues on-site at the customer's premises and provide support for hardware problems such as printers, laptops, and monitors. Furthermore, you will perform manual software installations, uninstalls, and configurations.

Requirements

You have completed vocational training in the IT field or a comparable qualification. Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, are required. You have solid knowledge of Windows and the MS Office suite. Strong communication skills, teamwork ability, independent and structured way of working, as well as a customer-oriented and friendly demeanor are important qualities for this position.

The place of deployment is on-site in the Wendland region; remote work is not possible.
