Seeking a Legal Advisor to provide legal support for Public Space Enforcement, focusing on drafting and reviewing legal documents, advising on administrative law instruments, and handling enforcement cases.
Project overview
The assignment focuses on legal support within Public Space Enforcement.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Mapping and elaborating missing designation decisions, letter formats, and other legal grounds
- Reviewing, improving, and updating decisions, correspondence, policy documents, and council proposals
- Advising on the application of administrative law instruments
- Handling complex enforcement files and legal issues
- Independently and timely processing objections and appeals within Public Space Enforcement
- Drafting defense statements, legal documents, and legal advice
- Representing the council at the objections committee and the court
- Participating in consultations necessary for the execution of the assignment
- Completed legal education at least at HBO bachelor level
- At least 8 years of work experience gained in the last 12 years in the field of municipal enforcement and administrative law
- At least 5 years of work experience handling objections and appeals procedures
- Preferably at least 1 year of experience within the BOA domain
- Preferably at least 8 years of experience in drafting legal decisions and case files
- Preferably at least 5 years of experience as a legal advisor or jurist within a municipality
