Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Legal Operations & Legal Tech Transformation Manager (m/f/d). The focus is on the digitalization and modernization of a central legal function through the introduction of new legal tech solutions, the expansion of data-driven processes, and the implementation of AI-based use cases.

We are looking for a personality who independently manages strategic transformation projects while simultaneously driving the operational implementation of legal tech and digitalization initiatives.

Responsibilities

RequirementsMust-have

• Introduction, operational implementation, and further development of a company-wide Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system
• Digitalization and scaling of existing claim management processes
• Introduction and rollout of a new case management system
• Implementation of further legal tech solutions, for example for document automation and workflow management
• Analysis and evaluation of new technologies as well as continuous market observation in the legal tech environment
• Development and implementation of AI use cases in the legal field, e.g., for contract analysis, legal research, or knowledge management
• Establishment and further development of AI governance structures as well as introduction of suitable AI tools
• Close coordination with IT, data protection, information security, and compliance
• End-to-end management of strategic legal transformation projects
• Functional leadership and coordination of interdisciplinary project teams
• Management of external service providers, software vendors, and implementation partners
• Responsibility for budget, quality, and deadline management
• Planning and execution of international rollouts
• Analysis, standardization, and optimization of legal business processes
• Establishment of KPI and reporting structures for managing the legal function
• Use of data and key figures for continuous improvement of processes and services
• Professional experience in the field of legal operations, legal tech, or the digitalization of legal and business processes
• Demonstrable experience in the introduction of CLM systems or comparable enterprise platforms
• Sound project management experience in complex transformation or digitalization projects
• Understanding of process management, automation, and data management
• Practical experience with AI/GenAI applications in the legal environment
• Experience in stakeholder management as well as in collaboration with IT, data protection, and compliance functions
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working

Nice to have

• Experience in international corporate structures
• Knowledge in the area of legal governance and compliance
• Experience with document automation, workflow platforms, or case management solutions
• Certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum etc.)
• Experience with legal analytics and KPI-driven process optimization
