Manufacturing Planner

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Planner for our site in Varel, Lower Saxony. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and optimizing manufacturing processes in an industrial production environment.

Your tasks include planning manufacturing processes for individual parts and series products, as well as selecting and implementing suitable manufacturing concepts such as Lean Production and Just-in-Time. You will create and optimize work plans in SAP or comparable systems and conduct root cause analyses to solve manufacturing problems. Furthermore, you will calculate machining parts considering manufacturing costs and support the continuous improvement of existing production processes using CI/KVP methods.

You will evaluate modern manufacturing processes such as CNC technology and additive manufacturing, support budget, resource, and investment planning, and implement cost improvement projects. You will also coordinate cross-departmental improvement projects in collaboration with production, engineering, and finance.

We expect a completed technical degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable field, as well as several years of professional experience in work preparation, manufacturing, or production planning. Profound knowledge of SAP PP and MS Office, experience with calculation techniques for machining parts, and practical experience with KVP/CI methods are required. Ideally, you will bring experience from the aerospace industry. Fluent German and good English skills are necessary. The work takes place on-site.
