Medior Mobility Advisor (Interim)

Project overview

As a medior mobility advisor, you will work within a mobility program for the municipality of Zwolle.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Developing policy to reduce unwanted driving in the city center
• Investigating how to reduce nuisance for residents and entrepreneurs while keeping destinations accessible by car
• Conducting location research for taxi stands and holding discussions with taxi drivers
• Working on pedestrian signage, including recreational walking routes
• Developing proposals to designate parts of the city center as pedestrian areas
• Contributing to the further development of SUMP
• Identifying and utilizing opportunities with the region, province, and national government for mobility ambitions
• Contributing to policy regarding cycling, pedestrians, shared mobility, and behavioral approaches
• Transferring advice, documents, and progress information to the program manager and the Mobility team
• HBO bachelor's degree in mobility, traffic engineering, civil engineering, urban planning, or geography
• At least 3 years of experience, gained in the past 8 years, with mobility advice, traffic engineering, or mobility projects at a municipality
• Work experience with conducting second opinions on traffic interventions
• At least 3 years of experience, gained in the past 5 years, with resident participation at a municipality
• WO bachelor's level in the same direction as a plus
• Strong advisory and writing skills, administrative sensitivity, and political-administrative awareness
