Job description
Lead the NIS2 compliance process for an international energy services company, covering 10-12 international sites with a focus on physical security, awareness, and best practices.
Project overview
Context
Our client is the international subsidiary of a large European multi-technical services group. It supports players in the oil, gas, and renewable energies sectors, from operations to maintenance. It has several thousand employees in about twenty countries.
The energy sector is now within the scope of NIS2. Senior management has decided to bring all sites into compliance, and the project has been approved by the CIO. The scope covers 10 to 12 international sites with a simple physical infrastructure: standard office IT, with no industrial systems or IoT. The expected gaps mainly concern physical security, awareness, and the application of best practices.
Assignments
You will lead the NIS2 compliance process in two phases.
Phase 1 – Diagnosis and action plan
Phase 2 – Implementation
You will work autonomously, with a flexible pace and format.
- NIS2 gap analysis for each site
- A workshop per site with the local IT team, in English
- Qualification of each point (compliant / non-compliant)
- Development of a global action plan, broken down by site if necessary
- Support for local teams in deploying the action plan
- Monitoring of application at sites where management requires it
- For more constrained sites, proceed as best as possible and document the approach, so that the group can demonstrate the completion of the diagnosis and action plan
