Permit Officer VTH (interim)

Project overview

As an experienced permit officer for the Environmental Act, you will process applications for environmental permits in a historic fortified city.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Assessing and processing applications for environmental permits
• Checking plans against the environmental plan and relevant laws and regulations
• Weighing interests between applicants, advisors, and the environment
• Discussing points of attention with applicants and advisors
• Working towards a careful and legally sound decision
• Collaborating with residents, colleagues, and external partners
• Sharing knowledge and experience with colleagues
• Independently and proactively handling applications while maintaining an overview
• Working and thinking level at HBO (higher professional education) level, built up through education and/or experience
• At least three years of relevant experience in permit granting within the physical living environment
• Completed training AWB 1, AWB 2 is a pré
• Basic knowledge of construction technology
• Experience with Powerbrowser
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to remain calm and maintain an overview in a dynamic work environment
• Independent work attitude and willingness to collaborate and share knowledge
