For a client project, we are looking for experienced support in the following position:

Platform Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

Please note: Your application can only be considered if all requirements of the position are fully met.

• Administration and monitoring of the OpenShift-based hybrid cloud environment (Azure Cloud and Bundescloud)
• Installation, configuration, and administration of container-based applications
• Further development of installation and configuration automation according to the GitOps principle (ArgoCD, Terraform, Ansible)
• Conception, implementation, and enforcement of cluster security and compliance policies with Kyverno and Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security (RHACS)
• Implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps
• Enablement of development teams for the use of platforms and pipelines
• Creation and maintenance of documentation for operational processes and procedures
• Participation in on-call duty for the operated platforms

• Experience in OpenShift administration
• Experience in policy management with Kyverno
• Experience with Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security (RHACS)
• Experience with ArgoCD and working according to the GitOps principle
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud and configuration in IaC (Terraform)
• Knowledge of configuring and writing Helm Charts
• Very good knowledge in building and maintaining reliable platforms and cloud infrastructures
• Experience working with agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban
• Strong problem-solving skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to take on on-call duty
• Knowledge in AWS
• Sound knowledge in CI/CD pipelines, especially with Azure DevOps
• Experience with on-premise cloud environments, ideally in the public sector
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions, e.g. Elasticsearch

The program "Modernization of Budgetary Procedures" aims to modernize and further develop the federal budget's specialist procedures.

As part of the program, existing systems are to be renewed based on modern IT, standards are to be considered, and flexible responses to legal, regulatory, or organizational changes are to be enabled. A contemporary and user-friendly interface should enable efficient work.
