PLC Programmer Siemens S7 / TIA Portal

Project overview

For a demanding automation project, we are looking for an experienced freelance PLC programmer with specialization in Siemens S7 and TIA Portal.

Responsibilities

You will develop and optimize PLC software with Siemens S7 and TIA Portal for complex automation systems. You will design HMI interfaces, create technical project documentation, and develop sequence and process diagrams. A significant part of your activity is the commissioning of the software directly on the machine, including support during assembly and functional testing. You will analyze occurring errors, optimize the systems independently, and coordinate technical solutions on a project-related basis.

Requirements

You bring sound practical experience in PLC programming and commissioning of special machines. You are proficient in Siemens S7 and TIA Portal and can analyze, adapt, and improve software under real conditions on running machines. You have a strong understanding of HMI systems, Siemens servo drive technology, and complex sequence and motion controls. Especially important: You have mandatory practical experience with cam-controlled machines – this competence is indispensable for the project. You can confidently create technical documentation and sequence diagrams using MS Visio.
