PMO & Project Controls Officer – Energy Infrastructure

Project overview

An international energy company is seeking an experienced PMO & Project Controls Officer for a large infrastructure project in the area of high-voltage grid expansion. The project focuses on the development of an interconnector between two countries to support the energy transition in Europe.

In this role, you will be part of a PMO team and report functionally to the program manager. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, technical experts, and various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Establishment and operation of an integrated program management approach with a focus on budget, schedule, risks, and reporting
• Coordination and functional leadership of PMO experts
• Definition and continuous improvement of the program management framework, including standards and processes
• Management of integrated baselines for scope, schedule, and budget
• Consolidation of budget estimates, cost forecasts, and risk provisions
• Facilitation of risk and opportunity management
• Development and management of program reports for management and governance bodies
• Ensuring traceability between program objectives, approved baselines, progress, and decisions

Requirements

Position: 60% Remote | Start: December 2026 | Duration: 13 months | Full-time

• Master's degree in finance, economics, or engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in project or program management
• Experience in large infrastructure or CAPEX projects is advantageous
• PMI/PMP or equivalent project management qualification
