Policy Advisor Poverty and Debt (Interim)

Project overview

As a policy advisor for poverty and debt, you will work on various development tasks within the municipality of Heemskerk.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Realizing bulk payments
• Making proposals for minimum schemes aimed at cost savings, with attention to financial and social impact
• Guiding the tender for collective health insurance
• Implementing basic debt counseling services
• Acting as account manager for social partners within the policy topics
• Translating national and local developments to the Heemskerk situation
• Acting as a knowledge carrier, both internally and externally, on the policy theme
• Monitoring the progress of activities and associated budgets and adjusting where necessary
• Maintaining regional and local networks
• Contributing to the planning and control cycle
• Participating in the task team 'Financially Fit' within the Strategy & Policy team
• Completed HBO or WO education, such as Public Administration, Law, or Social Domain
• In-depth and current knowledge of the Integration Act 2021, supplemented with affinity for the Participation Act
• Proven experience as a policy advisor at a municipality
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in a policy role at a municipality
• Experience in contract management, chain management, and collaboration with financial advisors
• Insight into political dynamics and well-developed networking skills
• Communicatively skilled, approachable, and reliable
• Proactive, resilient, and solution-oriented attitude
