Project overview
Assignment Description
As a Power BI developer within the KPI dashboarding project, you are responsible for translating business and operational KPIs into visually attractive and interactive dashboards. You ensure that the data is visually correctly unlocked and that stakeholders gain quick and accurate insights for decision-making.
Your activities include:
Design and development of KPI dashboards: Building advanced reports in Power BI, with a strong focus on usability and data-visual consistency. You will use DAX for calculating complex measures, trends, and deviations from targets.
Data modeling for KPI needs: You apply principles of dimensional data modeling to create a scalable and performant data structure that optimally aligns with the specific KPI questions of the organization.
ETL and data maintenance: You maintain and optimize ETL processes (partly through Python scripting) to ensure that the data underlying the KPIs is current, clean, and reliable.
Data integration: You connect the necessary data to the dashboards by using available unlocking channels such as Evry Angle and OData, enabling real-time or near-real-time insight into performance.
Sector-specific context (Defense/CLRS): You work within the context of Defense, taking into account specific data security and compliance requirements.
This role requires a strong balance between technical expertise (Power BI, DAX, Python, data models) and understanding of business objectives, to generate actual value through the KPIs.
