Power Platform Developer

Project overview

We are looking for a Power Platform Developer for one of our clients in the international industrial sector.

Context and Objective:

The industrial cybersecurity program is evolving several operational processes to replace fragmented Excel tracking and manual workflows with maintainable and auditable Microsoft 365 applications. The developer will bring operational delivery capability to design, build, test, document, and progressively industrialize these applications.

The profile sought is a developer capable of working directly with cybersecurity stakeholders, quickly translating business needs into functional solutions, and ensuring that the applications remain maintainable by the internal team after handover.

Scope and Priority:

P1 - Deliver and industrialize the program tracking application

P2 - Create the OT asset inventory application as a single source of truth that is structured and maintainable

P3 - Create the application supporting industrial cybersecurity assessments and remediation tracking.

P4 - Provide optional development capability for Cyber GRC needs.

Detailed Expectations for Priority 1:

The existing functional design already covers site/WP structure, status history, budget tracking (AR/PR/PO), actions, recurring reports, notifications, and role-based access management. The developer must transform this foundation into a robust operational application, prioritizing configurability over hard-coding. Review and streamline the current Power Apps and SharePoint implementation before extending it. Complete the user experience for program management, site views, work package updates, history, actions, budget, and reporting.

Finalize reliable Power Automate flows for notifications, synchronization, recurring summaries, error handling, and traceability. Strengthen data quality, permissions, auditability, and configuration management. Prepare a controlled transition path from the current MVP (based on SharePoint) to Dataverse if/when approved. Produce technical documentation, deployment notes, test evidence, and handover materials.

Profile Sought

Hands-on Senior Microsoft Power Platform Developer with strong expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint, capable of independently driving development. Strong experience in Power Apps Canvas development.

Solid Power Automate experience (robust flows, tracking, and error handling). Proficiency in integration with SharePoint Lists / Microsoft 365. Good data modeling skills, experience with Dataverse highly appreciated. Ability to structure and secure multi-user applications and translate complex business needs into simple user journeys. Experience with Power BI reports/integrations is a plus. Knowledge of Databricks or data platforms appreciated (without replacing Power Platform mastery). Languages: Professional English required, French is useful for collaboration with part of the team.

Knowledge of cybersecurity or industrial/OT environments is an asset.
