PowerApps Developer for Invoice Processing with OCR Integration

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced PowerApps developer to conceptualize and implement a Canvas App for optimized invoice processing. The application should significantly reduce manual data entry effort through the integration of OCR technology and structured post-processing workflows.

The PowerApps solution will be developed based on SharePoint Online and should offer the following core functionalities: Display and pre-filling of OCR-recognized invoice data, manual correction and completion by users, display of original documents (PDF/Image) within the app, validation of mandatory fields, and a status logic for the approval process. The data will be stored in SharePoint lists and document libraries and prepared for downstream systems.

Technical requirements include PowerApps Canvas App, SharePoint Online, Power Automate for data flows, and a performance-optimized implementation even with large files. Special focus is on data protection and compliance: GDPR-compliant implementation, processing exclusively within the Microsoft 365 environment (EU Tenant), authorization and role concepts, and audit trails for change traceability.

The scope of delivery includes the functional application, basic documentation, and a brief handover and introduction. The project is advertised as a 100% remote position and starts in May 2026. We prefer fixed-price offers with detailed effort estimates, timelines, and references for similar projects.
