Job description
Seeking an IT Strategy Consultant with expertise in infrastructure and networks to contribute to the "Technologiesprung Netzwerk" project, focusing on developing a modern, platform-based network ecosystem and optimizing related processes.
Project overview
The "Technologiesprung Netzwerk" project aims to evolve the network landscape into a modern, platform-based network ecosystem, thereby creating the foundation for the client's future digital backbone. The focus is on the conception and establishment of a central network platform to support the delivery of connectivity services and the optimization of business and technical processes. Operating and deployment models will be further developed based on DevOps principles, a multi-vendor strategy will be established, and a KPI-based steering framework will be built.
The passive infrastructure will also be considered within the project; an IT service provider will support the internal business units in assessing the current situation, developing recommendations, and coordinating upgrade measures.
- Conduct a structured analysis of the current situation and develop target, solution, and implementation scenarios (focus on passive infrastructure).
- Collect, structure, and qualify technical and business requirements.
- Analyze problem areas and document action options.
- Create and evaluate strategies and target architectures for passive infrastructure and their integration into the future network platform.
- Provide expert advice on the development of IT policies, digitalization strategies, and architectural specifications.
- Evaluate new technology solutions considering economic viability and security.
- Identify risks and create roadmaps.
- Enable the internal client team for independent further processing.
