Product Owner Data – Banking Risks

Project overview

Mission Context

We are looking for a Data Product Owner to work within an IT department to strengthen expertise in data product management.

The mission covers two main areas:

Shared Vision Engine for Defaults

This area covers the management of the existing product, compliant with NDOD regulations (Norms for Detecting Overdrafts and Defaults); the redesign of the engine, including architecture modernization and AI integration to improve default detection and analysis; as well as ensuring data quality and alignment with business needs.

Redesign of Client Visions

Rethinking dashboards for visualizing client data, particularly their outstanding amounts (exposures, risks, etc.). Objective: simplify data access and improve usability.

Main Missions and Expected Deliverables

Backlog Management

Collaboration with Teams

Data Teams: data integration, validation of NDOD rules, AI exploitation for the default engine.

Technical Teams: supporting developers for the redesign of engines and visions.

Business Teams: gathering requirements, validating deliverables, particularly prototypes of new client visions.

Dependency Management

Continuous Improvement

Technical and Methodological Environment

Technical Foundation: Public Cloud. Tools: Jira, Confluence. Methodologies: Agile / SAFe. Functional Domains: Data, Banking Risks, NDOD. Innovation: Artificial Intelligence and Automation.

Profile Sought

We are looking for a profile with the following skills and experience:

Proven experience in Product Ownership for data or regulatory products.

Certification in Agile / SAFe methodologies.

Proficiency in backlog management tools: Jira, Confluence.

Knowledge of data challenges: quality, governance, and integration.

Knowledge of banking regulations, particularly NDOD.

Ability to unite multidisciplinary teams: data, technical, and business.

Ability to prioritize complex subjects.

Interest in artificial intelligence.

• Prioritization of user stories.
• Sprint management.
• Alignment with stakeholders, particularly Risk departments.
• Coordination with teams for data integration.
• Ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance (NDOD).
• Identifying automation opportunities, particularly for client vision generation.
• Identifying innovation opportunities, particularly the use of AI for default detection.
