The mission is part of the Data Department of a major player in the audiovisual and media sector, in a B2B services context. You will work in a cross-functional environment, interacting with numerous stakeholders: Data Manager, Data Owners, Data Stewards, business teams, and the Privacy Officer.
The focus is on data governance, the data catalog solution, monitoring marketing indicators, and compliance with GDPR and CNIL recommendations.
Modalities
- Manage the development, maintenance, and evolution of the data catalog.
- Organize the classification, annotation, and documentation of datasets.
- Ensure the quality, consistency, and completeness of metadata.
- Gather and analyze user and stakeholder needs.
- Build, prioritize, and manage the product backlog.
- Define functional evolutions and monitor their production deployment.
- Collaborate with the Data Manager, Data Owners, and Data Stewards.
- Contribute to the implementation of data governance policies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and GDPR with the Privacy Officer.
- Organize training and support users in mastering the catalog.
- Provide functional support and produce necessary documentation.
- Define and monitor catalog usage and adoption indicators.
- Propose continuous improvement actions to encourage its use.
- Developed, maintained, and enriched data catalog.
- Prioritized product backlog and monitoring of evolutions.
- Documentation of datasets and metadata.
- Functional specifications for new features.
- Training materials and user guides.
- Documentation of data governance procedures.
- Dashboards and adoption indicators.
- Usage reports and improvement recommendations.
- Minimum 5 years of experience, including proven experience in Product Ownership on Data, Data Governance, or Data Management projects.
- Good command of data catalog and metadata management principles.
- Skills in structuring, prioritizing, and managing a product backlog.
- Knowledge of data quality, classification, and documentation challenges.
- Understanding of data governance principles and GDPR requirements (CNIL recommendations).
- Ability to collaborate with Data Owners, Data Stewards, Data Managers, and business teams.
- Experience in user support, training, and adoption management.
- Ability to coordinate projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Autonomy, rigor, analytical skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- No foreign language required.
- Location: Paris and the Paris region
- Remote work: Negotiable, to be discussed during interviews
- Pace: Full-time (5 days per week)
