Product Owner Workplace & Support

Project overview

As a Product Owner, you will provide direction for the Workplace & Support service:

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Developing and maintaining the vision, roadmap, and backlog for Workplace & Support
• Determining the order of importance for developments, incidents, and structural improvements
• Translating IT objectives and employee needs into clear priorities
• Providing direction for the further development of the Microsoft 365 workplace, peripherals, and supporting services
• Monitoring speed, predictability, quality, and user satisfaction
• Maintaining contact with stakeholders such as regional Univé branches and decentralized administrators
• Consulting with engineers, architects, security, service management, suppliers, and other IT teams
• Coordinating the external servicedesk and other suppliers together with the team
• Using signals and recurring questions from Support to improve the workplace
• Setting the course for lifecycle management, upgrades, migrations, and renewals
• Translating opportunities around automation, self-service, and AI into improvements
• Organizing and preparing Scrum activities such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Demonstrable experience in establishing vision, roadmap, and priorities for an IT product or service
• Ability to weigh different interests and make and substantiate clear decisions
• Experience as a Product Owner, providing direction and focus to a team without a formal management role
• Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills towards engineers, users, management, and suppliers
• Experience with external IT service providers and achieving improvements in operational collaboration
• Understanding of workplace services and IT to be a strong discussion partner
• Experience with improving services, steering on speed, predictability, and customer experience
• Ability to handle resistance, question existing working methods, and maintain course amidst uncertainty
• Bachelor/Master work and thinking level
• Experience with Microsoft 365 is a plus
• Experience with large-scale transitions or insourcing of IT services is an advantage
