Assignment Description

Within Meander, you organize and realize the first steps for data-driven work and the development of the data platform. You will conduct a baseline measurement of the current situation, ongoing initiatives, data governance, information products, and the data platform. You will translate the existing roadmap into a concrete, prioritized, and executable backlog with clear goals and acceptance criteria. You will make visible the expertise, capacity, decisions, and dependencies required. You will prioritize work based on value, user needs, risk, and feasibility, and organize execution in short sprints.

You will connect concrete information needs and use cases to work processes, steering, and decision-making. For the data platform, you will concretize functional needs and prioritize data sources, data flows, and information products. You will ensure that agreements on data quality, definitions, privacy, and responsible data usage are applied in execution. You will realize parts of the roadmap together with involved teams. You will deliver a baseline measurement, an up-to-date backlog, accepted initial results, an updated roadmap, a follow-up backlog, and a proposal for embedding in the line organization.

You will report to the steering committee via A3 reporting and Obeya, and align progress, dependencies, risks, and necessary decisions with the quartermaster. You will collaborate with users, data owners, process owners, architects, security, privacy, management, and execution teams. You will steer based on substantive priority, value, and acceptance of results. Ownership for data, processes, and structural management remains with the line organization.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's work and thinking level.
• Experience as a Product Owner within data, information provision, or digital transformation.
• Experience in translating a roadmap into a concrete, prioritized, and executable product backlog.
• Knowledge of data-driven work, data governance, and data quality.
• Understanding of the functioning and development of data platforms, data integrations, and information products.
• Experience with Agile working, sprint planning, reviews, and formulating acceptance criteria.
• Ability to make required expertise, capacity, dependencies, risks, and decisions transparent.
• Strong in stakeholder management and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Ability to switch between strategy, user needs, and execution.
• Ability to report progress, results, and decision points concisely and clearly.
• Stimulates and motivates stakeholders and takes initiative to get execution started.
