Product Owner for Register Modernization

Project overview

As an IT and business consulting firm, we are looking for a Product Owner for one of our top clients in public administration to provide technical leadership for an agile team in the context of register modernization in Lower Saxony.

Project Framework:

Period: ASAP until the end of the year, extension likely

Utilization: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Technical leadership and management of an agile project team
• Translation of work packages into Epics, Features, and User Stories
• Continuous maintenance and prioritization of the team backlog
• Planning and management of implementation within agile iterations
• Coordination of the modernization and migration of existing registers
• Support for connecting registers to central digital infrastructures
• Acceptance of work packages and results based on defined acceptance criteria and the Definition of Done (DoD)
• Participation in agile regular meetings and iteration planning
• Coordination of functional and technical dependencies with relevant stakeholders

• Several years of relevant professional experience as a Product Owner
• Sound knowledge of SAFe
• Knowledge of register modernization infrastructure, especially IDA, NOOTS, and DSC
• Experience in creating and prioritizing Epics, Features, and User Stories
• Knowledge in the area of register migration and integration of digital interfaces
