• Independent creation of test specifications as well as test and test execution plans
• Continuous optimization of various tests and analysis of requirements
• Enabling business departments for efficient testing procedures
• Planning and execution of effective software tests at various levels with specialized tools, including Xray-based test planning
• Continuous exchange with various departments to ensure high quality
• Execution of automated and manual tests
• Expansion and maintenance of regression tests
• Creation and execution of new or existing CI/CD pipelines for test automation
• Creation of test cases and test flow diagrams as well as implementation of tests
• Conducting knowledge transfer between teams
• ISTQB Foundation Level
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Minimum 3 years of experience with test automation
• Minimum 3 years of experience with agile test management tools
• Several years of experience in test automation of REST interfaces, for example with Bruno (CLI), as well as user interfaces with Cypress, Playwright, and Selenium
• Experience with system and end-to-end tests (E2E) as well as with functional acceptance tests, including analysis, design, implementation, execution, and reporting in interdisciplinary agile teams
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, OpenShift, Git/Bitbucket, and Docker, advantageous
• Interest in constructive discussions with product teams consisting of business department employees, BizDevOps Engineers, Architects, and Product Owners
• ISTQB CT-TAE Test Automation Engineer
• Knowledge of static code analysis with SonarQube
• Experience with agile development methods such as Scrum and SAFe
• Experience with Atlassian Jira (Xray) and Confluence
• Practical application of AI Coding Assistants with a focus on cost efficiency, compliance, traceability, and sustainable knowledge transfer
• Experience in testing Kafka interfaces
• Assignment period: 01.10.2026 – 31.12.2027 with option for extension
• Workload: 60–80%
• Location: Bern Wankdorf with remote component with team days on-site (Tuesday and Thursday)
