Project overview

As a program manager, you will lead the area-specific approach for the Gestelse neighborhood and its expansion into the Zuid area.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Developing and executing an area and implementation program
• Translating municipal ambitions into tangible actions and projects
• Determining the priority of tasks and the deployment of available resources
• Managing integrated neighborhood development
• Connecting physical and social issues related to housing, safety, mobility, and well-being
• Counteracting fragmentation between departments and partners
• Building and maintaining an urban network with partners such as housing corporations and the police
• Advising the board and management on progress and risks
• Writing administrative proposals and reports on progress
• Establishing and monitoring measurable goals and adjusting where necessary
• Guiding change processes to stimulate area-specific work within the organization
• Completed WO (university) education
• Proven experience within complex social programs where diverse organizations and interests converge
• Extensive experience with participation and resident involvement in a municipality with more than 100,000 inhabitants
• Experience with change processes within municipal organizations, preferably in municipalities with more than 100,000 inhabitants
• Minimum 1 year of experience in area-specific work within 's-Hertogenbosch, with knowledge of the neighborhoods, networks, and administrative relationships there
• An urban network with contacts at housing corporations, welfare organizations, and safety partners
• Skill in approaching social and physical issues in an integrated manner
• Visible and accessible presence in the neighborhood, with trust from residents and partners
