Responsibilities

Profile

• Professional advice and support for the project team in the planning and realization of railway infrastructure projects
• Development and contribution of concepts as well as optimization suggestions for construction phase and construction operations planning
• Evaluation of existing plans regarding feasibility, quality, and construction operations impact
• Creation of robust assessments of the feasibility of construction measures under given constraints
• Professional advice during execution planning with a focus on later structural implementation
• Consideration of local, operational, and infrastructural framework conditions
• Professional support and assistance for the involved engineering firms and project partners
• Proactive identification of optimization and solution approaches within the project
• Close coordination with internal and external stakeholders as well as regular on-site appointments possible
• Ensuring a practical connection between planning, construction process, and later execution
• Completed degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, or comparable qualification
• Sound experience in railway infrastructure projects with a focus on planning, construction, or project management
• Sound knowledge in construction phase and/or construction operations planning
• Strong understanding of the practical implementation of construction measures as well as local and operational constraints
• Ideally, experience as a project manager, planner, inspector, or in a comparable role in the railway sector
• Proactive, solution-oriented way of working as well as the ability to contribute one's own ideas and concepts
• BKU access, ideally knowledge of iTWO
• Willingness for regular on-site assignments in the Duisburg/Wesel area
