Project overview

As project leader, you will manage the approach to grid congestion and housing construction at the province of Overijssel.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Steer and execute the approach for grid congestion in relation to housing construction
• Collaborate with municipalities, housing associations, market parties, and grid operators
• Implement the ACM prioritization framework for housing construction
• Align housing construction planning with the investment and execution planning of grid operators
• Promote grid-aware construction and devise solutions for grid congestion issues
• Link housing construction plans to the installation of utilities
• Advise administrators and translate complex issues into concrete steps
• Contribute to the realization of the Overijssel Housing Deals and the housing construction task up to 2030
• Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience with energy systems, energy infrastructure, or spatial planning
• Minimum 3 years of demonstrable experience as a project leader
• HBO bachelor's degree, preferably in the direction of Energy Technology, Public Administration, Urban Planning, Spatial Planning, Technical Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a comparable study
• Experience in managing complex collaborations between governments, grid operators, housing associations, and market parties
• Experience with issues related to housing construction, area development, or spatial planning within a government organization
• Knowledge of and experience with energy issues, grid congestion, or the energy transition in conjunction with housing construction
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bring together diverse interests
• Administrative sense, overview, and a results-oriented approach
