Project Management Officer (PMO) IT & Engineering

Project overview

For an established company in the commercial vehicle industry, we are looking for a dedicated Project Management Officer (m/f/d) with an IT and Engineering background. In this role, you will support project management in the successful execution of complex IT and engineering projects.

Your responsibilities include the creation and updating of project plans, including work breakdown structures and risk analyses. You will be responsible for continuously tracking project goals and project progress in close coordination with project management. Furthermore, you will coordinate dependencies between different projects and align them with project managers, project teams, and external implementation partners.

Further core tasks include planning and schedule coordination, preparation and follow-up of project meetings, and tracking agreed-upon actions. You will create project status reports and presentations for various target groups and moderate workshops.

We expect a successfully completed degree in IT, Engineering, Business Informatics, or a comparable field. At least three years of practical experience as a Project Manager or PMO is required, ideally in agile environments. Sound knowledge in IT, Engineering, or technical development projects, as well as proficient use of project management tools such as Jira and Confluence, are necessary.

You should be proficient in using MS Office products and SAP. A structured, independent, and proactive way of working, strong communication skills, and professional stakeholder management are essential. Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile.
