Project Manager Area Development (Interim)

Project overview

As a project manager, you will lead various inner-city area developments in Zwolle, in different phases and with diverse themes.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Connecting internal and external stakeholders around the content of the project
• Analyzing and assessing scenarios to arrive at strategic and tactical proposals
• Making and substantiating decisions so that those involved understand the course
• Managing project teams on risks, finances, planning, quality, and dependencies
• Identifying and adjusting bottlenecks in a timely manner
• Ensuring administrative and societal support for politically sensitive developments
• Completed education at a minimum HBO bachelor's level
• 5 years of experience, gained in the last 10 years, as a project manager for inner-city area development in a city with more than 100,000 inhabitants
• Experience gained within a municipal government organization with more than 100,000 inhabitants
• Experience gained in the last 5 years with political-administrative sensitivity
• Desirable: experience with administrative and politically sensitive area developments and coordination with various stakeholders
• Desirable: at least 7 years of experience as a project manager for area development within a municipality with more than 100,000 inhabitants
• Desirable: experience with complex inner-city developments with multiple spatial and societal challenges
• Desirable: experience with mixed programs of living, working, and facilities
• Desirable: experience with area development under the Environmental Act
• Desirable: experience with integrated management of multidisciplinary project teams
